the safety of the schuylkill river trail. revelry opening the revel that flopped. there's obstacles to overcome. good morning everyone, 5:30, friday, june 10. david is off, matt pellman is taking a look at the accident in delaware. >> reporter: action cam on the scene along i-95 in the southbound lanes approaching route 141. a vehicle hit the guardrail. you had someone ejected from the vehicle. there's debris all over the roadway. we can see in the action cam video one lane of traffic is squeezing by coming southbound on i-95 through newport approaching 141. there's a vehicle involved. there's the other. fire crews remain on the scene. with one southbound lane getting by, you know it's going to be a slow go on southbound i-95 coming out of wilmington traveling through newport this morning. coming out of wilmington, stick with route 2, kirkwood highway,

run route 9 to 73 or churchman's road to get back to i-95. of course we'll watch the situation in new castle county. now, we're watching the schuylkill expressway looking good so far this morning. we've seen the mlk drive reopen. traffic moving along here it was closed for construction not closed any longer. the boulevard extension looking good. north of here there's the overnight work going on between rhawn and strahle blocking the outer drive. henry avenue is reopened this morning after being closed because of the downed tree. use it. work going on haddon township black horse pike northbound at 130 that should be gone in the next half-hour. what's going on karen. >> reporter: it's another day to grab a sweater, 48 in martins creek, 52- in quakertown. 52 in pottstown, 49 this morning

accuweather seven-day forecast. we'll look for that. thank you, karen. we continue to follow breaking news, a man has been found dead at the scene of a fire in delaware county. let's go on over to "action news" reporter, katherine scott at thompson avenue and granite terrace in springfield. good morning, katherine. >> reporter: good morning, tam, that's right, one man was found dead in his home overnight. restoration crews were on the scene after this overnight blaze. they are trying to secure the property. they are boarding up the windows. there are boards on the holes that burned through the roof. let's get to the viewer video where you can see flames in the upstairs windows, smoke pouring out as firefighters worked in springfield. this was a fast-moving fire that broke out at 12:30 at the home that sits on east thompson and granite terrace. firefighters discovered a man on the second floor. he was pronounced dead. it took about an hour to get the fire under control. the cause of the fire is under

investigation, but at this point it does not appear to be suspicious. and we have not heard yet if there were any smoke detecters inside the home. live in springfield, katherine scott channel 6 "action news." thank you katherine. fire in philadelphia's nicetown section damaged three homes overnight. embers fell from front porches as firefighters worked on the 4300 block of north 15th street. 3 people were displaced, nobody was hurt. we're following a developing story in mercer county, new jersey, a man was shot in the face in front of a coin store. this happened on the 4300 block of south broad street in hamilton township. the victim is in the hospital. there is no word on a move or arrest on the shooting. newly formed schuylkill river trail watch is scrambling to get more volunteers, a woman was walking up to walnut street

and was slashed in the face by a man who took off. you got the runners and bikers and passer byes walking up top. you wouldn't think anybody would be harmed. the trail has newly placed mile markers and lighting. they could add security cameras in the future. police in south jersey arrest a man who they say attacked a jogger. tyrone decker junior is charged with robbery and criminal mischief. he attacked a woman yesterday near wrangle borough road and high school drive in galloway township. decker threw the woman to the ground as she fought back. they arrested him at the scene. a philadelphia woman is in jail in florida after she suffocated her 7-month-old son saint leo and her 3-year-old daughter in her family's home on

wednesday. hines has no addictions and does not suffer from mental illness. he doesn't know how this could happen. the motive is under investigation. muhammad ali will be laid to rest in louisville, kentucky. thousand will gather for an inter faith service following a procession in the boxer's hometown. bill clinton will attend along with will smith. ali's family planned his funeral for ten years making sure to honor his muslim faith and adapting to the demands of western culture. atlantic city revelry sort is showing signs of life. 900 hotel rooms will be in service starting wednesday. glen straub said many will be used by a company hired to operate the casino. straub hopes to have the gaming hall open by august. the public can rent rooms, but there's no website or telephone
